When I told them it was due to my service dog they not only asked me what my disability was but then sarcastically told me they would like to see my service dog perform his alert tasks because he didn't believe an animal was smart enough to perform in a working capacity. Two supervisors then came out, one man and one woman, and made me explain why I wasn't being allowed into the building as if I had done something wrong when I was still confused as to why I wasn't being allowed access. I was pushed to the side and told he was not allowed to enter, when I politely explained that he was a service dog and needed him I was told they only allow service dogs for the blind and hard of hearing. On April 23 at about 4pm I tried to enter valley center casino and was denied access due to me having a service dog.
I am writing this after filing formal complaints with the United States Department of Justice to try to spread the word and get as much awareness as possible.
